Day of the Dead Bloodshot Margarita at www.happyhourprojects.com #DayoftheDead

Hey friends, today I'm mixing up a Day of the Dead cocktail with Casa Noble tequila!  They sent me a bottle of their crystal tequila to share a new recipe with you all (because apparently, they know the way to this girl's heart is with a delicious cocktail.  Just ask my husband, the bartender). So ...

Etched Glass Bangles at www.happyhourprojects.com

All right - today's project is not the most practical piece I've ever made, but I had so much fun making these etched glass bangle bracelets that I'm going to share anyway.  All I'm going to suggest is that if you make them for yourself, I would not recommend wearing them if you're going to have a ...

Flower Topped Mason Jar Cheesecakes at www.happyhourprojects.com

Okay, I know it's not a brand-new idea to make mason jar desserts, but I was going through my recipe book a few weeks ago, and I ran across a recipe that a friend of mine from my childhood had written for me about 20(!!) years ago for mini cherry cheesecakes that we made at one of our baking ...

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
